No one likes talking about money. And needing to reminding someone they owe you some dosh is always an awkward and uncomfortable conversation. So, we came up with a special PayPal service that takes the unpleasantness of asking people to pay up by having someone else do it for you.
This idea submitted as part of the Young Glory competition a few years ago.
How it works:
Using AI and robocall technology, PayBack will allow you to make slightly threatening but very funny prank calls to people who owe you money. Simply choose the intimidating person you want for the job, personalise your message, and enter your debtor’s phone number.
Of course, you’ll be able to listen in on the conversation and record their reaction. Once they hang up, they’ll get a text message reassuring them it was just a prank, as well as a link to download the PayPal app so they can reimburse you in a painless way.
